POST Houston offers on-site parking for a fee. Enjoy the first 30 minutes free, then rates vary by lot. Check the parking map for details. Street parking is also available around POST, but be cautious not to get towed! A traffic officer will help direct the flow in the parking area. See parking details here

How much are tickets?

  • One Day Author Panel Ticket + Early Bird Shopping: $30
  • Both Days Author Panel Ticket + Early Bird Shopping: $55 (discounted rate)
  • Early bird shopping of the Book Market Only : $15

Are tickets required?

Tickets are required for the author panel, that begins at 11:00am and early bird shopping at 12:00pm. Tickets are NOT required for the book market that opens at 1:00pm.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable.

Can I purchase just Early Bird Shopping for the book market?

Absolutely! Early Bird shopping tickets are priced at $15. Shopping is from 12PM to 1PM, before we open to the public.

Are kids allowed at the author panel?

Due to the nature of the topics and questions that may arise during the panel, we kindly ask that all guests be 18 or older.

What time will the book market open?

The Book market will open at 12pm, at the conclusion of our author panel, for those that purchased a ticket.

Then the Book market will open at 1:00pm to the public.

Who gets a free tote bag?

All Author Panel ticketholders will receive a tote bag.

Additionally, the first 100 guests at the free book market on each day will receive a tote filled with bookish goodies.

How will we prevent line skipping for tote bags?

We'll distribute numbers 1-100 as guests line up. Tote bags will be provided to guests aged 16 and older. If someone chooses to skip in line, they can still enter with their group, but they will not receive a tote bag. Line monitoring will be in place.

How much is parking?

Parking is handled through POST Houston. Details can be found at posthtx.com/parking.

The venue is accessible with both stairs and an elevator available for wheelchair access. 

Which exact venue within Post Houston will Readers Fest be held?

Readers Fest will be held on the second floor in the "The Office" venue space.

What authors will be on the panel?

We'll have two author panels on the event day featuring four authors on stage.

  • Day One: Sponsored by our friends at Mossrose Bookstore, this panel will include a mix of traditional and indie authors.
  • Day Two: Sponsored by Readers Fest, this panel will showcase outstanding indie authors from Houston

Will you have more authors, aside from the panel?

Yes, we will have a Meet & Greet area called The Author Alley, where additional authors will be present with their books available for sale and signing.

Is this event pet-friendly?

POST Houston does not allow pets, except for service animals.

What are other parking options?

Downtown parking is available in all areas surrounding POST. Readers Fest is not affiliated with any parking lot. Parking somewhere free and Ubering is always an option.

What does my author panel ticket include?

Ticket includes a seat to view our author panel, one tote bag, and early bird access to our book market.

Will there be food options?

Enjoy local coffee and pastry vendors throughout the event! Additionally, POST’s cafeteria offers a variety of fantastic food options to satisfy your cravings.
